Welcome to everythingbicycling.co.za! We are an independent, web based bicycling portal that aims to add value to bicycling. It’s built to constitute the most effective point of information - for just about everything bicycling - at your fingertips!

What do we do?

• We list bikes for sale. It doesn’t matter whether they’re privately owned or not, electric, for the road, for going up or down a mountain, to jump in the dirt or flip over with, to be used on the track, they only have one wheel or are built for two riders. Some have fairings, or is the perfect tricycle for your daughter. Old ones. New ones. Strange ones. Expensive ones. Bargain buys. Man, we even list downright cheap bikes.

• We host bicycling information. Here, you will find all the bicycling terminology we could find. We’ll take you through the history of the bicycle, exchange cycling tips and discuss basic training principles for the novice. We’ll introduce you to the principles of correct frame size, effective seat positioning, drafting, proper cycling technique, pedalling and etiquette. We also have suggestions for carbo-loading from simple sandwiches to mouth watering pasta, recovery drink, muffin and smoothie recipes. We have bicycling quotes, discuss common cycling injuries and cramping on a level even we could understand.  We’ll even introduce you to that tour in France!

• We will introduce you to local bike shops, bicycle workshops and wheelsmiths. We host contact details and information of nutritional advice centres, stockists of cycling apparel, bicycle shops offering discounts and pro-training centres. We’ll inform on regular ride information and just about any cycling event we can find.

• We host cycle clubs’ newsletters. We're keeping track of clubs supporting events and will host our own ‘Cycling Club of the Year’ competition. At the same time we host club-newsletters, and have an internal messaging sysyem available to registered members.

• We have a calendar, wider than just bicycling events, for you to be able to plan participation around what happening in and around SA.

• We transport bicycles. From Jo’burg to Cape Town for the Argus. From Jo’burg to Durban for the Amashovashova. From Jo’burg to Louis Trichardt for the Kremetart. From Jo’burg to Bloem for the OFM -and anything else we can get our grubby little paws on!

• We ride broomwagon. We’ll help event organisers extend roadies a helping hand. Fix flats & help change wheels. Help you get you back to friends, family & a beer when cramping ruins your ride or you run out of gas. We ride the back keeping trailing traffic informed of your progress, and take a couple of pic’s to remember your participation in an event.
